"I still haven't gotten over Game 7."
-Stephen Curry
Game 7:
Stephen Curry. 17 points, .316; (3 pt) .286; 2 assists; 4 turnovers.
NBA Finals:
Stephen Curry 22.6, .403; (3 pt) .400; 3.7 assists; 4.29 turnovers.
Definitely a bummer of a Game 7 for the elf magician. Not a good Finals, period. .403 shooting percentage. Definitely a worse Game 7 but not a good Finals. And after a 73 win season.
Does Curry seem wound a little tight to you?...The migraine in the 2015 Finals...His performance in the 2016 Finals and especially in Game 7.
Stephen Curry has lost his touch at the wrong time — again.
But after four failed attempts, including an airball that might have left the production crew of nearly 50 wondering if the body double had been the one firing away, Curry makes it clear that — failed title defense be darned — his sense of humor remains intact.
"I hope y’all got a lot of film in there," he says with a laugh before finally burying the fifth attempt.

What if Stephen Curry has developed Steve Blass disease? If a basketball player can get that you'd expect it in a finesse, jump-shooter, the chances increasing with the distance of his shots. Nobody has ever had range like Steph Curry.
No splash, no Splash Brothers.
It's probably not Steve Blass disease. It was probably the Cleveland defense. And before that the OKC defense. The incomparable Steven Adams. And before that that mid-season game in San Antonio whose scoreline resembled an Alabama-Mississippi football game. And now the "pressure" of shooting unguarded in an empty arena while making a deoderant commercial and shooting 1/5, .200.
Be interesting to see how Curry does in the 2017 Finals, if they get there. He will have to get over Game 7.
