FT Detroit 92 Miami 100
You have to go deep into the box score to uncover the player most responsible for this win. It was not Jimmy Butler, who had 15 points but on 4/13 shooting and nine boards in 25’; it was not Bam, who also had 15 and 9; it was not Kyle, who had another bad game at PG, 15 points, 4/10 (1/6), 6 rebs, 8 assists, 5 turnovers in 35’; it was not Duncan Robinson, who shot 50% from the field and from range, but on only 8 total and 6 respectively. You have to go to the last man off the bench, Tyler Herro, to find the reason for the win against the awful “Pistons”. Tyler played 33’, team high after the ineffective Butler and Lowry, and scored 31 points on 12/21 (4/8) shooting, with 8 rebs, 3 asts, and 3 turnovers. Miami now 12-6 on the season.
