Defenseless Filly Folds in Fourth, Falls to Denver

Every "Nugget" was gold tonight. Denver shot 53.7% as a team and 9 of 10 players hit 50%+ of their shots as the "Sixers" played their third straight disturbing game in a 114-110 loss at home.

Phila came roaring out of the gates and led by 15 after 1. The "Nuggets" bounced back with a strong 2nd to trail by only 5 at half time. After 3 Philadelphia led by 7 but Denver dominated the 4th for the win.

Not Beard's fault tonight. James Harden missed a 3W by one rebbe, 24 points on 6/11, 9, and 11 asts. Joel Embiid had 34, 11/20 (3/3) and 9 boards. All the starters shot well, all of them 50%+ but Tobias Harris, and he was 4/9. As a team though Philly shot only 42.9%. The culprit was their bench. Three reserves shot 3/23--13%. Still they would have won the game had they guarded anyone in blue and gold.

Philadelphia has lost 2 of 3: the apocalyptic blowout at home to Brooklyn, the alarming comeback overtime win at horrible Orlando and tonight a Pholdarama in the Phourth in Philly to a good Denver team who they had on the ropes. With a chance to close to within 2 games on East-leading Miami the "Sixers" fell three back to third.

Around the Association, two young teams to watch out for if they ever figure things out, Cleveland beat a good "Clips" team in OT in the Pawn Shop and Chazz rolled the "Thunder" in OKC.

Philadelphia looked like they had the Answer in Beard. Now, only questions.
