Luka Doncic played heroically but the "Suns" look like Destiny's Team. Devin Booker is baack, big time, Chris Paul has discovered the Fountain of Youth and PHO wasted an elite franchise with elite talent in a 129-109 beatdown in the Valley of the Sun. Dallas won 52 games in the regular season, one less than Miami did in the East, but Pho has been the best team in the Association all season, and are the runners up in last season's Finals. They own a 2-0 lead over the "Mavs" and Dallas won't come back. The "Suns" are that good. The two teams meet again in Presidential Assassination City for game 3 Friday, the same night Miami goes to Phila to try to drive a 3-0 stake through the heart of the "Sixers" season. I think Embiid, if he's back, and he's expected to be for one of the two games up there, will allow Phila to take a game, maybe two, in the friendly confines. That would be a moral victory but if they even the series, two of the final three games still are played in Miami. Miami will win the serious however many games it takes. They will face the winner of Beans vs Beer. For PHO, the winner of Golden State-Memphis. The "Warriors" snatched home court from the Grizz in Memphis. If they split in San Fran, two of the last three will be played in Tennessee. Golden State, healthy at last, will win, although it's not a sure thing. If they do I think PHO will have their hands full with the Dubs. I think Miami can beat Boston in the Eastern Conference finals; I am 50-50 whether they can beat Beer. It's even money that Miami will meet Beer in the East finals and then play the winner of PHO-Golden State. I don't like either match up for Miami. I think either Western team will beat Miami in the Finals.
