Denver fired Nathaniel Hackett today after less than one full season after an embarrassing 51-14 beatdown from 4-10 LAR. Nathaniel was a well-regarded O-coordinator of Green Bay before this season.
As was his father Paul. Hackett père was the O-coordinator at Pitt under Mike Gottfried. When Gottfried was fired Paul was interim for the "Panthers" bowl game and was then made head man for three seasons. During which he drove the program into the ground. Fired. Was made O-coordinator with Kansas City. Left to take over as head coach at USC. Pitt fans warned SC fans that their school was making a big mistake. It was. The "Trojans" were worse each of Paul's three years.
Hackett men, man: great coordinators; can't hackett as the head guy.
