Pittsburgh can now make the playoffs by beating Cleveland next weekend — if Miami and New England both lose. A lot still has to go right, but a lot went right Sunday.
They have the “Browns” at home; that should be a dub. The Dolphins” host the “Jets” though, who were eliminated today. Who knows with those two misfit outfits but Miami would be favored and would have everything to play for and Fast Planes nothing. If the oddsmakers are correct (and in truth I hope they are, I would rather see Miami make the playoffs than Pit) that alone would send Pit home. If the “Dolphins” do lose though the “Steelers” in addition would need NE to lose at Buf. “Bulls” will be favored. Odds are Pit will be out but the future is buffed bright and stainless in Steel Town.
