It is never a good idea to spit in Adam Silver's face but one week after signing a new CBA with the NBAPA where the commissioner's major purpose was to curb load management and tanking, multiple teams tonight did just that, tanked. The losers in this arrogant, cynical process are the fans who don't get discounts on their big league tickets when G-League players play. It didn't work Adam, and now you're locked in to, what seven?, I think it's seven more years of this fan gouging.

"So, you know, we have to go by that and that's something that happens. So the guys that are playing, we got to go out there and put our best foot forward...the guys that are playing are gonna go out and try to play to win. You gotta be pros. You can't cheat the game."
Not even when your org cheats the fans.

Kidd said the decision was made by Fat Mark Cuban and general manager Nico Harrison. He said he was not involved in the decision-making process.
Does Kidd agree with the decision?
"Those are my bosses," Kidd said, "so yes."
Adam Silver ought to strip Fat Mark of this franchise. He fined him $800,000 in 2018 for publicly admitting he was tanking.
