Jack Smith asks Supreme Court to immediately 

decide if Trump is immune from Jan. 6 

prosecution

 

Judge Chutkan ruled that he was not; Trumpie appealed to an intermediate appellate court--to try to run out the clock. Smith wants no delay in the March 4 trial date. The Supremes do not have to take the case and do not have to decide it on an expedited basis if they do take it.
