I don't watch the games so I don't know-know, I reconstruct the game from the box score and team stats. In our first game vs Disney we had 19 t.o's; they had 15. That was bad enough; the real bad part was that Disney got 25 points off ours and we got only 16 off theirs. -9 points in a 4-point loss, yeah, that's the culprit. We have a new run-and-gun offense and no point guard but the confusing stat in that first game was that Davion Mitchell, apparently our point guard in all but name, had the game of a real good PG: his assist-t.o. ratio was an out of this fucking world 12-1. In that game every guy who played except the Taking of Pelle had at least one t.o. That's distributing the blame equitably. Bam "led" the team with 4 and Niko and Nahmin had 3 each.
Tonight we had one MORE t.o. than against Disney. Once again, it wasn't Davion: 7 asts to 3 t.o.s, better than 2-1, is fine! Once again, the misery was spread evenly, everybody but one guy, in this game Keshad Johnson, had at least one t.o. Davion and 3J were high with 3 but four guys had 2 each; Pelle had his 2 in only 8' on the court, which is pretty pathetic. Our 20 t.o.'s produced 22 FedEx points while we got 23 off their mishandling of the parcel.Turnovers were the difference vs Mouse. In this game they didn't matter a whit, but you cannot, you just CANNOT average 19.5 t.o.'s per game and expect to win many. That has to be cleaned up.
