We shot 51%, only 28.6 from range. They had 13 more shots from the field than we did, on accounta we got killed on the boards agayne, 47-57. Does that mean Bam didn't play and Ke'el was a space heater agayne? I haven't checked the box. But despite badly outrebounding us they shot 45%. Unlike the other night, we got to the line way more, 36-23. We made 11 more freebies than they did.
They gave us 32 points from 20 turnovers; we gave them 25 off 15. +7.
This was a back-and-forth game. Our largest lead was 12, theirs was 12 and we only won by 5.
Now to the box score. --I had NO fucking idea we played tonight.--
Bam did not play. Ware played 23', fewer than any other starter (Wig-o, Nahmin, Davion, and The Taking of Pelle). Ware did collect 12 boards, had 9 points on 4/8 (0/2), 3 blks, 2 t.o.s +1. So Ware.
By mins played our leading five were, in order, Wig-O, Niko, Stormin' Norman, 3J, Pelle.
Guess who was game high scoring? No. No. One more. Nope. NIKO. Fucking Niko was almost the minute man, he had 29 pts in 31'. He was 10/16 (3/7), 9 boards, 7 asts, damn near had a 3W, 2 steals, 1 block--he was 8 counts away from a 4W with 6 t.o.s, had 5 fouls and was +20 which was the team-high plus.
In points, no. 2 was Nahmin with 22 on 7/16 (1/5) in 30'. The rest of his stats are pretty standard for a vet guard. Powell was +11.
We had seven guys in d.d. in points. Andrew was the only one of the starters underwater in +/- and he played the most mins. No, sorry--Pelle was worst among starters and team at -10.
3J had another full box score. 29', 14 pts, 6/15 (0/2), 12 rebs, 7 asts, 1 steal, only 1 t.o., only 1 foul, +8.
For the Bad Guys Avjida, Avdija, whatever, was a monster: 33 in 37', 11 'bounds, 8 asts.
Jrue Holiday, 18 and 13 asts in 35; Sharpe 21 pts, 9 rebs in 28'; Ruop Death 6 pts in 12'.
