A friend in China sent an "I haven't heard from you in so long" email, to which I responded and inquired about her and family. Her redacted reply:

"My ex-husband... has been in his hometown Hunan for 11 days and may go on staying there for a bit more time if he can use his nephew's computer well for playing stocks. Here at home, he has three computers for that business though so far he has just made his loss a bit less!"

That gets a smiley face. :)
