Oh...I was too harsh on Brother Franklin. That was a reasonable call. They had tried a running play on first down; only got a yard. The drive had started with the same ball carrier ripping off 11 yards or something, though. And the quarterback, McSorley, threw a 34 yard pass on 4th and 16! on the same drive. They did have all the momentum and why not go for it when you all the momentum. It was just such a poorly-thrown ball, way under-thrown. Maybe they don't have a reliable field goal kicker. I don't know. Reasonable call. Just didn't work out...Now, I'm talking myself back into thinking it was a boneheaded call. They were right there...if they had a field goal kicker.
