What did you want, a limo?

Four West Bromwich Albion players, Jonny Evans, Gareth Barry, Jake Livermore and Boaz Myhill, have admitted they stole a taxi in Barcelona. Not skipped a fare, stole the damned car.

Catalonia's regional police told The Associated Press that the players were taken before a judge after being accused by a taxi driver, who said he was outside the vehicle at the time it was stolen.

Manager Alan Pardew however said "It wasn't what we wanted." Alan continued: "They break a curfew, and that is unacceptable, and I feel a bit let down by that. There was a curfew on that evening and it was broken..."

Go on, Alan:

"...we just want to concentrate on the game now...and our fans will want to see us put in a performance tomorrow." Asked if he would understand if the fans felt let down, Pardew said: "Absolutely, and we have to respond with a performance tomorrow."
