And of course USC and LSU are looking for new coaches. Nike's Mario Cristobal is having his name tossed around now for those two jobs. Evidently "Trojan" and "Tiger" poo-bahs are having second thoughts about James Franklin for some reason. It's impossible to stop blowhards from compiling outlandish wish lists (e.g. Mike Tomlin to USC) that have no correlation to reciprocal interest and I cannot fathom how any head man at Oregon would ever want to leave except for the NFL and maybe not even then. You're at the end of the rainbow in Eugene, you've got fantasy facilities, there are multiple pots of gold just lying around, you gonna leave for the high pressure, private school in the same conference in LaLa or a Slave State culture? There are damn few Mario's in Red Stick and no Cristobal's.
There is a time to reap and a time to sow and this is definitely a time to reap.
