I have not checked the numbers. I have seen indirect signs of how bad it is. The shelves at the CVS convenience store have been bare of some basic essentials since the weekend. The same at Publix. Supply chain disruptions due to absent workers.
American experts confidently predicted a cresting of the Omicron wave in the second to third week in January. We are now in the second. I would be very surprised if it has shown any signs of peaking yet.
