As has been opined here previously, there is no way back from this war; the war, the sanctions, this. How could Biden ever meet with Putin again? How could you remove sanctions ever? This is Putin's war, yes; his war, his fault, absolutely. It is also true that the U.S. has done nothing to deescalate it. We're done with Russia forever. The Bidens know that, right?
