Secretary Blinken has given NATO the go-ahead to supply Ukraine with fighter jets which the U.S. will replace. Poland has been clamoring for the decision.
I am telling you right now that this is a grave mistake by, and will endanger, Poland and as a NATO member who we are pledged to defend, it endangers us. It is a grave step toward World War III. The West has no strategy and is reacting and reacting in escalation. We should not be reacting but if that's what we're going to do it should be an instinctive reaction to deescalate. We should have a strategy, which by definition would have a way out, for Putin and for us, but we don't.
