Trump was the unifying force for Democrats in 2020. Without him, their own divisions become clearer.
I didn't know what she was talking about then and I don't now. I thought it was apodictic that it was Republicans who had been united under Trump but who are now flailing "without him" as a credible leader, his endorsed candidates stumbling, his legal jeopardy worsening. I emailed my (2nd) ex-wife asking her opinion. I thought, maybe a typo, Democrats instead of Republicans, or "become" instead of "became". My ex replied that it was because of AOC, Bernie, Manchin and Sinema, and I let it go. Here are two reasons for my perplexity, one from yesterday, one from today.
