Judge Scott McAffee tossed counts of "Solicitation of Violation of Oath by a Public Officer" against Trumpie, Giuliani, Meadows, Eastland, and others. In his Order McAffee wrote that the counts,
"fail to allege sufficient detail regarding the nature of their commission"; "lack of detail concerning an essential legal element" is "fatal."
Trumpie now faces ten counts, Giuliani ten, Meadows one, Eastman eight.
The ruling today has nothing to do with the pending motion to disqualify District Attorney Fani Willis.
