Nuggets star center Nikola Jokic did not have a huge game, finishing with just 12 points on eight field-goal attempts to go with 14 rebounds, six assists and four turnovers. 

But others around Jokic stepped up.

Yes. That would also go along with the "hand" meaning of Spoelstra's "handle" comment. They're like mercury, you have your thumb pretty much on the big fat blob and then Aaron Gordon or Michael Porter, Jr. squirts out.

I truly enjoy Spoelstra's comments. Like those he made after the Army NoVa debacle they are deeply insightful. He really understands. But. There is the air of the ivory tower in them, a too intellectual detachment from the reality on the common below. We have lost four in a row. We are headed for 44 wins and the play-in. There are 17 games left to analyze, we are 0-11 against top five teams, and the reason for our predicament is not lack of deep understanding but talent.
