I paid ~$2,000 for three seats to watch us play Wind in December. I would have paid more for that game. I’d pay 10% of that now.
The Arison Heat cheat the regular season, ticket-buying fan. I’m not even following them anymore until and if, they start beating top teams, against whom they are 0-11 this season. Wins over the Zollner Pistons this weekend, who cares? We’re 7th in the Least; we’re on pace to win 45 games, exactly the average number of wins we have had the previous nine seasons. This will make ten years where you can ink it in in October: Miami will win 45 games. They don’t play until the playoffs. Fine, that’s when I’ll tune in.
