Reasonably Greater Miami can finish now lower than where they are now and no higher than 4th. Were the season to end tonight we would face PhilaBoo (Joel Embiid is expected back for the post-season) in the first round of the play-in. If we won, we would be the 7th seed in the playoffs and open vs either Beer or Gilbert ☠; if we lost (as we did our first play-in last season from the same seed), we would play the winner of the nine-ten pairing, likely Chi or Atl. If we won that, our second, play-in (as we also did last season), we would be the 8th seed. We would then open our first round of the playoffs against the one-seed, prohibitively Boston City. We will not win 51 games this season. We have 18 games left. To reach my predicted 51 wins we would have to win 16. We are tethered to 45 wins in the regular season and it’s a pretty short tether.
