Two years ago Pitt played UCLA in the most colorful Sun Bowl ever. Pitt is something of a feature in the Sun Bowl so it made sense a couple of weeks back when I saw a projection for for this year's game. I salivated: Pitt and USC. I verily hope that that comes to pass. It could surpass Pitt-UCLA for most colorful. The "Trojans" have had a disappointing season and are not yet bowl eligible at 4-5. They need to win two of their last three, at Nebraska Saturday where they are heavy favorites, then at UCLA, concluding against Notre Dame. They will probably win two of them, setting up another technicolor dream in El Paso.
