Today

Today is a federal holiday, Presidents Day. A minor holiday. Yet, from the moment I got up it has been as quiet on the streets as it is at 3 am. I never remember PRESIDENTS DAY to be this still. D-2 and I had plans to study today, but when I got up I noticed the hush, which did not exactly put me in a work mood. Still, I gave D-2 my wakeup call at 8:30--hoo doggie was she not ready either. A minute or so after my call she texted asking if we could start at 11. I replied sure, but then a couple minutes later texted her on how peaceful it was outside and asking if she wanted to take the day off. Yes, she quickly replied. So no mle today. Weird day.
