Attorney General Bondi Has FBI Arrest Milwaukee State Judge for Shielding Illegal Immigrant From Arrest by ICE on Federal Warrant

A judge cannot do that. ICE agents appeared in the state courthouse outside Judge Hannah Dugan's courtroom. The judge then led the illegal immigrant, Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, and his attorney through a door to prevent the federal arrest. It is highly unusual for the feds to arrest a man in a state courthouse. It is considered violative of a "spirit of comity" between the federal and state courts. The arrest of a state judge is way beyond unusual. However here, based on this report, it was Judge Dugan who violated federal-state "comity", and violated law, federal and state. Under the circumstances reported, the arrest of Judge Dugan was proper and warranted.

Trump orders Justice Department to investigate ActBlue, Democrats’ top fundraising platform

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump has ordered the Justice Department to investigate the Democratic Party’s top fundraising platform, the latest example of Trump using the tools of the government to go after his political opponents.

Trump, in an executive order signed Thursday, directed Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate allegations that Republicans have raised that ActBlue allows illegal campaign donations.

Democrats, who had anticipated they would be targeted, condemned the move Thursday and ActBlue called it an “oppressive use of power” by the White House.

“The Trump Administration’s and GOP’s targeting of ActBlue is part of their brazen attack on democracy in America. Today’s escalation by the White House is blatantly unlawful and needs to be seen for what it is: Donald Trump’s latest front in his campaign to stamp out all political, electoral and ideological opposition,” ActBlue said in a statement.

Trump’s allies argue they are justified in seeking vengeance due to the four criminal prosecutions against Trump, one of which led to multiple felony convictions in New York. There’s no evidence then-President Joe Biden influenced the Trump prosecutions in any way.
...
Matt Schlapp, president of the American Conservative Union, said Democrats needed to be taught not to touch a hot stove.

“Someone needs to get burned for all this activity or they’re just gonna do it again,” he said. “And that’s not hypocrisy. That’s justice.”

Trump has made no secret of his plans to use the power of the federal government to target domestic political adversaries.

I have contributed to Democratic candidates through ActBlue many times. This is what "Trump allies" say it is, political weaponization of justice "seeking vengeance", to "burn" Democrats with intent to chill contributions to Democratic candidates. This "investigation" is a direct attack on democratic elections and the rule of law.
