But that is the first of a back-to-back, for on Friday, they travel to play a rapidly-ascending, neo-glamour team: the Charlotte Queens, the hottest team in the Least, winners of six straight, a game and one half behind Miami for eighth place. Charlotte will win that game and move to within half a game of the "Heat." Charlotte is going to keep floating and stinging. They will pass Miami in the play-in seedings. Tonight they are only two and one half games out of sixth place and the playoffs. Rickety, teetering Phila. is in 6th. Joel Embiid has missed two of the three games designated for his latest tweak injury, whatever that is, there are so many. Phila. may hold them off, but hold them off will be what it will take because Charlotte is coming with alacrity, they are hungry and confident--19 point win tonight in Bean Town--and they will not be stopped. They will shove Miami and Orlando aside. They are taking aim at Phila. and sixth. I'm not betting against them. I'm predicting it and I'm rooting for them.
