"Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah," Trump posted on Sunday without censoring expletives.

“If I were in Trump’s Cabinet, I would spend Easter calling constitutional lawyers about the 25th Amendment. This is completely, utterly unhinged. He’s already killed thousands. He’s going to kill thousands more,” Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) wrote on X.

Rep. Yassamin Ansari (D-Ariz.) said the 25th Amendment “exists for a reason.”

“The President of the United States is a deranged lunatic, and a national security threat to our country and the rest of the world,” she said on X.

Former Rep. Joe Walsh, a Republican turned Democrat, noted that Trump’s Easter post comes just days after a White House advisor compared the president to Jesus.

“He will forever be a stain on this country. And the world. 25th Amendment. Now. And to everyone else who, unlike Trump, understands & celebrates today - Happy Easter,” Walsh wrote.

Jon Favreau, an ex-advisor to former President Barack Obama, called Trump “a deranged lunatic.”

“[Trump] should clearly be removed from office. He’s only there because of Republican Members of Congress,” Favreau said.

“This is a deeply unwell man on a dangerous power trip, threatening possible war crimes. This is not how the President of the United States should be speaking about sending our servicemembers into harm’s way. Republicans should join Democrats to end this war immediately,” Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) wrote on X.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) said Trump’s words “are the ravings of a dangerous and mentally unbalanced individual.”

“Congress has got to act NOW. End this war,” Sanders posted.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) called the message “Disgusting and unhinged.”

“Something is really wrong with this guy. Thank you for your attention to this matter,” he added.

Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) said: “Trump is clearly unfit to be President. But do not let that explain away the evil of his threatening war crimes against the Iranian people, on Easter Sunday no less. We cannot let Trump normalize this.”
