Rep. Haley Stevens Breaks With El-Sayed, Dems, Endorses MAGA Mike Rogers Two Days Before Michigan Vote

This was all staged precisely by Israel First AIPAC and Stevens' Jewish fiance. Jason Turkish's interview with the Detroit News just last weekend laid the groundwork with his charge that calling Israeli actions in Gaza genocide led to death threats to American Jews. Then the supposed unity rally today with El-Sayed and Jim Clyburn. Then Stevens' demands letter. And then today's endorsement of El-Sayed's MAGA opponent. I unsay no criticism I have made of El-Sayed, none of my own concerns about his antisemitism, that he was a perfect foil for AIPAC. Today was the final act in the play scripted by AIPAC.

And it is going to work. I could not make myself believe the polls before this. Now, I don't care what they show, El-Sayed is not going to win. AIPAC will finally get El-Sayed's scalp to hang on their website.

I have cautioned my Jewish friends publicly over and over and over again of the danger to reputation and credibility in blind support for Israel by AIPAC. It leads to a rise of antisemitism. This will lead to a rise of antisemitism.
