True Crime Stories: 90% Boredom, 10% Horror

On routine patrol, a uniformed officer noticed a

blood- stained, naked man carrying something in

his hand, walking alongside I-70, in broad day-

light. Reasonable suspicion established, the officer

pulled over and stopped the man. As the officer

opened his driver's door, the man threw a

severed human head at him and into his police

cruiser.

Later, the man's headless girlfriend was

discovered in their apartment, wearing a tee-shirt

with the lettering, "Sticks and Stones may break

my bones but Whips and Chains excite me."

The man was adjudged legally insane. The

officer went on temporary leave and received

psychiatric counseling. This is Public
