This is a black day (actually yesterday was the black day but I didn't find out about it until late last night) for Public Occurrences and for Modern Islam. For our beloved brother Lamb (see posts January 3 and September 16, 2010), aka Mohamed Geele, has been sentenced to nine years in a Danish gulag for his self-defensive actions against the aggressions of Kurt Westergaard.
Yesterday, the great writer on Islam, Nicholas Kristof, wrote movingly that "We Are All Egyptians" in solidarity with our brothers on camelback in that country. Today I am sure Mr. Kristof joins me in saying, "We are all Somalis."
