The Day is almost over as I begin this post. Public occurrences that caught my attention today include:
-The price of crude oil dropped below $60 for the first time in five years. It was at an all-time high of $107 in July. I don't understand economics. How could that happen? Expect lower gas prices.
-Protests over police killings continue throughout America, which I think is good. However, in Oakland, California there was this scene:
1. Man with gun. 2. Man with gun pointing gun at person. 3. This man with gun had been masked: All, not good.
4. Pointing gun directly at news photographers.
-There is another government shutdown looming! No, really. Tonight's the night, midnight's the time. Against all odds, the White House and congressional Republicans are joining together to keep the lights on. Really, what are the odds?
-Three in double figures today, U.S., Ukraine, Rus. One from Israel and one from Kuwait, the University of. China post, of course.

5. Undercover cops, wearing masks, at a protest over police killings, recognized by someone, outed, unmasks himself and points gun directly at Reuters photographer.
Some cops, some police departments, like the one that came up with this infiltration idea,
are just too stupid to be cops. Their skill sets suit them for the profession of grocery bagging or professional pizza delivery.
