The reaction at the Emirates Stadium and on the internet, to Arsenal's 3-0 loss to Manchester City was unmistakably, eerily, different from past disappointments. Arsenal fans left the stadium in silence. On the internet there was no outrage, Piers Morgan retweeted someone else's remark, didn't even tweet his own. The newspaper accounts were not vinegar, they were funereal. There was acceptance, sadly expressed,  that Arsene Wenger is gone  He really is gone. He. Really. Is. Gone. With that result Arsenal people entered the end stage of love. they have given up, they don't care.
