I've watched mini-highlights of the Phila-Tor and Golden State-Denver series. The league office had better monitor these games. Things could quickly get out of hand. There were a couple of standoffs between players, Joel Embiid had a sideline convo with Toronto coach Nick Nurse, which I have never seen before, and things got dicey in San Fran with Nikola Jokic. That guy has a hair-trigger temper. Once, a "Warrior" patted him on the butt, it looked sarcastic, as the two players walked past each other. Jocic turned on his heels to confront no. 0 on GS. It was the temper Jokic showed when he blindsided Markieff Morris and knocked him out of action for several months. This time little Steph Curry got in front of Jokic and kept him from advancing. Then two Nuggetinos, Will Barton and DeMarcus Cousins, almost got into it and had to be separated. Shades of Butler-Spo-Haslem. Later, Jokic reacted angrily, and so loudly that it was clearly audible through the telecast mics, to a foul called on him. He was immediately, and appropriately, T-d up by the zebra. It was his second T of the game and he was gone. One of the "Warriors" players, it may have been Draymond Green, sarcastically waved goodbye to him. It was not a forever goodbye. The teams now go to Mile High for the next two.
