Those "Mountaineers" had a reverse near-death experience in Boone against Troy State. They beat the Condoms on a last second 53-yard TD pass.

Most impressive performance in the top 25 yesterday I think was #22 PSU's crushing of Auburn down there 41-12. Don't know how good teams are this early in the season but these two played a physical, close-ish game last season in Towel Snappy Valley. State was a 2.5 point road favorite, unusual, very unusual when the home team is from the SEC.

Most depressing was (18) FU's 32-28 "victory" over 23.5 dog USF in the "Swamp." Fucking FU made believers out of me and a lot of others in their near-perfect performance beating then-7 Utah two weeks ago. They've been poor since.

The most disgusting game was UCLA's 32-31 "win" over -15.5 South Alabama before 29k friends and sig oth's in the Rose Bowl. Uclans are 3-0, beating Bowling Green, Alabama State, and S. AL. The COMBINED witnesses to those three "matches" was 90k in the 88k capacity old stadium. Disgusting.
