The Lights Seemed to Dim

She was shot in a random robbery attempt on her college campus. When he approached and she saw the gun she floored it and drove off and he shot. The bullet went through the metal of the car through her seat back losing much velocity and exited and struck my niece in her back bruising the skin but not even penetrating it. When I took my brother's call that day I was in my office and as he began the lights which never changed seemed to dim suddenly.
