FT PSU 15 MI 24

This was a poor game. MI's play selection, or non-selection, was horrendous. J.J. McCarthy only threw the ball 8 times; he completed 7 of them! Blake Corum was the workhorse RB for the "Wolverines", 22/145, but Donovan Edwards only had 10 touches. It was poorly called by MI's interim coach, goodness gracious.

For PSU, I know Drew Allar is only a sophomore, this is his first full season as starter, but deary me, he is the QB prodigy! He was the five-star Franklin wanted and needed. And this game was there for PSU and Allar personally to take! And he didn't. Look at these stats: 22 pass attempts, 10 completions, 70 yards. SEVEN yards per COMPLETION, 3.2 yards per ATTEMPT. Folks, that ain't gonna cut it. I don't know why Franklin doesn't let Allar try big plays, he obviously doesn't trust Allar. Maybe Allar is just not that good. More likely imo though, Franklin is just not using him effectively.

That was the story of this game, a boring game because of coaching of the quarterbacks.
