Penn State couldn’t hide its deficiencies in both personnel and coaching in another big-game loss…

The Lions…couldn’t consistently stop the big play with Michigan’s run-heavy scheme. They oddly went for two after an energizing touchdown late in the first half, and failed. They burned a timeout on fourth down and a long two yards, before proceeding to punt, in a one-score game. Their lack of explosion at wide receiver remains glaring, which limits their ability to even attempt downfield strikes with strong-armed quarterback Drew Allar. Michigan essentially muzzled its passing game and it still didn’t matter. —Adam Rittenberg

They did! Why did Michigan “muzzle” McCarthy? I’ll tell you what, if Michigan used the same interim coach against Ohio State, they will LOSE.
