For what it’s worth I’m back to that. I’ve read more of the report, read the transcript of his Thursday night press conference, where he tasked the president of Mexico with delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza, fact checked him myself, briefly briefed the Hur report.
But most importantly, to me anyway, was the FactCheck.org Annenberg article with the quote from the report that I had not read, that Biden, in a 2017 taped conversation with the ghostwriter, was “painfully slow” in answering questions due to his memory, and “struggled” reading his own notebook entries from his years as vice president to the ghostwriter. Biden doesn't wear glasses so that points to deteriorated reading ability.
The White House was asked Friday if they would release the tape recordings of the conversation with the ghostwriter and interview with Hur. They replied to effect that they’re considering it. They NEVER will. It would be like the release of the Nixon Watergate tapes, the end of his presidency. The tapes would demonstrate more vividly than the WH is complaining the report’s characterizations of Biden’s mental state do, that Biden’s mental faculties are too compromised to continue being president.
A lot of folks have got it better than we do right now. There is no way out for the country: Biden or Trump.
