"Historic"? "LONG seen himself as a historic figure." The book was written in 2017 and covered his Senate career and eight years as veep. So LONG before he won the presidency in 2020, for which I agree he will be considered historic to some degree, he saw himself as "a historic figure." That hints at a Messiah Complex, doesn't it?
