Jack Smith "practically begged" her for a ruling on the jury instruction issue--so that he could appeal; so that the "nightmare scenario" of deferring ruling until jeopardy attached could be avoided. Smith showed Cannon the path to acquitting Trump. Marked it with bread crumbs. I predict she'll follow the path. I predict she won't rule. She hasn't ruled on anything else! Why should she rule now that Smith has told her exactly what will happen if she rules: reversal by the 11th Circuit and reasonably may get kicked off the case?
Jack Smith should have a stop watch handy and a game ending time before him. It has now been 24 hours. When his clock strikes midnight, and it better be soon, Smith should file a motion to recuse for action by inaction. His inaction is action, too.
