Josh Shapiro is getting trashed by lefties as not left enough, by unions for not being pro-labor enough, for Israel-Gaza, by anti-Israelites generally, and by Sen. John Fetterman for being too ambitious personally.

The White House told the Kamala campaign that they can't signal, signal, signal Shapiro, hold the veep introductory rally in Philadelphia and then introduce the guy from Minnesota. Kamala is making this decision with family, Doug Emhoff and Tony West, and her closest advisors, which is not a good sign, and tonight the ground is shifting northward:

Top VP contender Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz no longer traveling to New Hampshire after schedule change

“The governor's schedule has changed and he is no longer traveling to New Hampshire this weekend," Teddy Tschann, a spokesman for Walz, said in a statement.

House Democrats hone in on Tim Walz for Harris ticket

House Democrats are increasingly advocating for a former colleague: Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
...
“I want somebody who is totally committed to the agenda that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris fought for. … And then I think it should be somebody who’s really good in some of our Midwestern states. So making sure that we win Wisconsin, Ohio — some of those places. And so that kind of brings me to — I really like Gov. Walz."--Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.)

Rep. Jayapal, I say this to you with all respect: Do you have a bone in your brain? "Win Wisconsin, Ohio--some of those places"? Do you even know where Ohio is? One "of those places" somewhere around Illinois, Michigan, same diff? Have you checked out how Ohio has voted in the last two presidential elections? Do you know that it is ruby red, that not even LeBron James, much less Tim Walz, would make Ohio competitive?; that Kamala is not going to contest Ohio any more seriously than she will Florida or Texas? Really ma'am, that is one of the most politically brain-dead statements I have ever heard.

Now, both Walz, who, to repeat, I LOVE, and Shapiro are being personally interviewed by Kamala tomorrow. But I want to say this clearly and boldly: Kamala needs Pennsylvania. America needs Pennsylvania. The White House is correct to warn against a switcheroo in Philly. If she chooses Walz, her schedule should change. For to introduce Walz in Philly would be deeply insulting and she will lose Pennsylvania.
