a few yrs ago, when i first calculated the post-LBJ avg, i emailed barry jackson, "45 wins a year, every year for 10 yrs." i didn't think he would realize. i even calculated the standard deviation. he emailed back, "exactly, and two conference championships and two finals." he knew and i knew of the finals and that's the glass half empty/half full.
