Democrats’ Lead in Mississippi Senate Race Grows
To me, that means Scott Colum is going to win. The new count total: Colum +2,010 raw, 49.1%-48.8%. AP has not called it yet.

Colom holds a narrow lead over Hyde-Smith as vote-counting in Mississippi enters its second full day. State law does not allow for recounts. And although both candidates remain below the 50% mark, Mississippi does not hold runoff elections for U.S. Senate races. Several thousand provisional ballots are expected to be counted in the race and the state has until Nov. 10 to resolve those ballots.
