Translated, the sentence read, "There is no God but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah," but the kids weren't provided the translation. It was a CALIGRAPHY assignment. Angry phone calls from parents, classes canceled.
My goodness gracious. This is a very discouraging time. Very dangerous, too.
