"Only Republican Voters Can Stop Donald Trump Now."-The New Yorker

Sometimes the obvious is brilliant. That is the key. All of the talk about "process" and campaign strategy and "elite" opinion matters not a whit unless it affects how Republican voters vote.

In addition: the Iowa caucuses have not been a good guage of who the ultimate nominee will be. The media will go nuts for a night. The candidates however will fly out that night for New Hampshire and New Hampshire has become unreliable, see post here about a week ago. I think, as do most pros, that Trump will do well in Iowa and do well in New Hampshire. And the day after New Hampshire they'll be off to South Carolina. There is not much "momentum" that translates from states as different as Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina. Southern-heavy Super Tuesday now seems tailor-made for Trump. He should do very well on Super Tuesday again. But what if he doesn't. And doesn't it all come down to how voters vote? It does. And I still don't think Donald Trump is going to get enough votes translated into delegates to win even the Republican, that is Christian Phalangist, nomination.
