I know the answer to that question: call in the military to police the conventions, like we did to integrate the South in the '60's. There CANNOT BE AN "INCIDENT" AT THE POLITICAL CONVENTIONS. Here we have a former police chief, a man President Obama made co-chair of his task force on policing predicting violence at one or both conventions, thereby impicitly acknowledging that the police cannot prevent an "incident." Then the cops are out. Call in the military. Poor visuals? Hell, yes! Too bad! The worst visual would be Trump or Clinton getting assassinated or a bomb blowing up the arena, no? Would the visual of Quicken Loans Arena blown up be pleasing to the eye?
I have been calling on Obama to have the feds go after Trump supporters for a few months now. Now he is going to have to protect them and Trump. Are those Nazis going to be allowed to bring their guns to the convention? Yeah, well, permission RESCINDED if they were. There must not be a gun allowed inside that arena, there must not be a gun within shooting distance of that arena unless it's being held by a soldier. Obama has been warned, and by his own top cop now. If there is an "incident," the blood will be on his hands.
