I love it when people make grand after-the-fact claims. They’re doing that now with the NBA Finals.

Although you can’t see it there Tim Bontemps joined Andre Snellings as the only two, of what, like twenty?, ESPN analysts to predict a Toronto championship. Zach Lowe just wrote that Kawhi Leonard is staking his claim as the world’s best player. Really, Zack? You didn’t even have him as Finals MVP before they started. Toronto was a prohibitive underdog before the series started. Very few, very, very few saw Toronto’s plethora of “options,” if I remember, that was a Wall Street Journal guy, as the deciding factor before the series started.
