...it’s straight-up embarrassing to drop a home game to any team, even one as great as the Warriors, that’s so thoroughly hobbled.

Kevin Durant is again out for game 3. Klay Thompson is “questionable.” Steve Kerr’s heavy, heavy use of his stars throughout the playoffs is very questionable. That’s the reason for this latest rasher of knocks. Kerr is endangering these guy’s careers. When you’ve already got a “strain” as both KD and Thompson have and you send them, or just Klay actually, out in the Finals again, you’re half way to a tear—and there goes a year. Of course it’s an agonizing decision but it’s Kerr’s decision and it has been Kerr’s decisions that have gotten this team to wounded warrior status. If Curry or Klay or Draymond or Iguodala tears an ACL or MCL than you can bury these “Warriors” at wounded knee.
