Boy oh boy Vanderbilt. The SEC is the best conference in college football, yes it is. But when SEC'ers would start getting on your nerves you could always say, "You have Vanderbilt." Not in some years, though. Vandy was good under James Franklin. Under sixth year coach Derek Mason they won six, five, and six games the last three years. Not good, but mediocre. Not Vanderbilt bad (Under Franklin's predecessor: four two-win seasons in eight.). Mediocre. Until this year. Vandy is 1-4 and their lone win was over Northern Illinoise. Today, against another school imported to Nashville to get the "Commodores" that all important second victory of the season, they are getting blown the fuck out. They are getting blown out by UNLV. UNLV plays in whatever worthless conference it plays in and is 1-4 in said worthless conference. UNLV's only victory of the season (before today) was against "Southern Utah University" which I didn't even know that existed. Derek Mason is mebbe coaching the last 2:22 of his tenure at Vanderbilt.
