Trump’s acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney admitted today that the administration withheld military aid from Ukraine as pressure to investigate a debunked conspiracy theory against Democrats.
“Did [Trump] also mention to me in the past the corruption related to the DNC server? Absolutely, no question about that. But that’s it, and that’s why we held up the money.”
And, Mulvaney admitted to admitting it.
“I have news for everybody: Get over it. There’s going to be political influence in foreign policy.”
Mick, I have news for you: That is against the law. You’re going to jail, your boss is going to get impeached, and convicted, Mick, and he’s going to get removed from office. Get over it.
